SO-P-I Enter Freight & Tracking #

Purpose of Program

Use this program to enter the freight charge and shipping information for Sales Orders without having to go back through the complete release process in SO-E  Release Sales Orders.

General Program Operation

Enter the Sales Order Number, Shipping Charge, Tracking Number and Freight Carrier for each order.  The tracking number and carrier information are saved in the Sales Order Notes and can be printed on the invoice and packing slip.  They will be saved to the posted invoice and removed from the open sales order when the invoice is posted so that new information can later be entered for a subsequent shipment against the same sales order.
