CM-H-D  Print Single Label

Purpose of Program

Use this program when you need to print a single personal contact label, such as when addressing an envelope.

You can print labels on either dot matrix printers or HP LaserJet compatible printers.  Dot matrix labels are designed to print on standard 3-1/2?x 15/16?single column mailing labels, while laser labels are designed for two column, 1?x 4?mailing labels (20 labels/sheet).  With laser labels you can specify which label (by row and column) that you want printed.  By specifying columns and rows, you don't have to throw away an entire sheet of labels to print a single label.

General Program Operation

Enter an account code or select one from a pop-up window by pressing F2 (or clicking on the Lookup button).

Next, indicate whether you want a contact printed or not.  If yes, indicate which contact (1 thru 10).

Enter an L if you want the label printed on a laser printer, D for a dot matrix printer.  If laser, you will be asked if you want one or two labels printed.  If you specify one label, you will be asked whether the label is to be printed in column one or two, and which row number.  If you specify two labels, you will be asked for the row number.
