PS-C  Company Logon Access (DBA Classic Only)

Purpose of Program

Use this program to assign users to security levels by company.  Once one user is assigned to a security level in a any company, security for all companies is activated and all users from that moment on will be required to have access assigned to get into any company.

Security levels are assigned in this program for all companies in the system.  For example, if you have three companies, and you want a user to have security access to all three companies, you would create three records for that user, each designated for one of the three companies.

General Program Operation

You are first presented with a Logon Access by Company lookup window that will display any existing company security level assignments.

To create a new record click on Add or press <Insert>.  You are taken to another screen where you may enter the user's Logon ID, the Company Code, and then the appropriate Security Level.

Click on the Save button (or press F10) to save your entry and you will be returned to the Logon Access by Company lookup window where you can make another entry or edit an existing entry.

When you have finished making your entries, click on Exit or press <Esc> to return to the Password Security menu.  Make sure the first logon access created is for the system administrator to log in using the unrestricted security level.
