DE-S Import Image Links
Purpose of Program
Use this program to import image links for inventory items rather than entering them one at a time in IN-B Enter Inventory
General Program Operation
Create an ASCII delimited file containing Item Number, image file path and file name and optional features including the Order number, whether or not to use the Global Path or print with the Traveler, the Routing Sequence to associate with and the application to open with (if other than Internet Explorer). Indicate the name and path of the file to import and whether it is fixed length or comma delimited. If it is comma delimited, indicate which column of the file contains the specified data. If fixed length, enter the first position and field length. Unlike other Import programs, this does not import to a temporary file for validation prior to transfer but instead imports directly to the link file and appends to any links that may have already been entered.
