DE-J-B Edit Bills of Material

Purpose of Program

Use this program to edit Bill of Material data imported using DE-C Import Bills of Material prior to transferring the data to the permanent master files.

General Program Operation

This program is similar to BM-A  Enter Bills of Material except that it is editing the temporary import module files rather than the master files.  See BM-A  Enter Bills of Material for further details and field explanations.  There is a button present in this program to Fix Invalid Parent Part #.  This would be used if a number of component records have an invalid parent part number associated with them.  Once the invalid part number is specified and a valid replacement selected, all components will be corrected.
