DE-D Import Routings

Purpose of Program

Use this program to import Routings from another system or from an ASCII file developed outside of the system.

General Program Operation

See Importing Master Files for general import instructions.  The Routing import requires the Parent Part Number, Type and Work Center and validates them against the inventory master and work centers entered in RO-C  Enter Work Centers.  Non-zero Sequence and Operation are also required.

The Routing Import has a Calculate Time per part option which means you can import either the time per part and have it calculate parts per hour, or import parts per hour and it will calculate time per part.  If this option is selected, then the program will use the Decimal Time per part to calculate the parts per hour.  If no Decimal Time per part is entered, it will use the Parts per Hour to calculate Time per Part in HH:MM:SS format
